Abstracts to be considered for poster or oral presentation may be submitted until May 5, 2014.

All Abstracts MUST be submitted online using the Abstract Submission FormHand-written, faxed and emailed abstracts will not be accepted. The presenter MUST be registered for the conference before an abstract can be submitted. At registration, you will be given an invoice number which will allow you to  access the on-line submission page.

The text must not exceed 250 words or 1600 characters (with spaces). This does not include words and characters used in the title, the authors’ names and affiliations

You will be asked to indicate your preference for an oral or poster presentation. Please note that not all requests for oral presentations can be accommodated. Selection of oral presentations will be made by the scientific committees of ICLGG and IFLRC.

The following criteria will be used to select abstracts for oral presentation: significance and quality of research, representation of themes.

Oral presentations will have a time limit of 20 to 25 minutes. We are expecting to inform authors of abstracts selected for oral presentations by May 31, 2014 and will provide further instructions to presenters then. The remaining abstracts will be poster presentations (format see below). All abstracts will be published in the conference booklet.

Poster preparation:

  • Poster size: 48 x 32 inches or 120 cm x 80 cm (height x width) max. Posters in landscape orientation cannot be accommodated unless they are less than 80 cm wide.

  • Poster presenters will be responsible for the installation and removal of their poster on an assigned board. We recommend using double sided tape which will be provided by volunteers on- site.

  • The Organizing Committees will not be responsible for any loss or damage due to installation, removal of posters on-site, or for the cost of printing, transportation and accommodations related to the poster presentation
